Harvested at altitude
Mountain climate and cooler nights give the oil character — a more intense flavour and greater stability.
Three generations of one family, one grove in Sierra Mágina, and one variety — Picual. We import their oil directly to the Czech Republic.
Molino de Huelma has been producing extra virgin olive oil in Spain for three generations. The estate lies in the mountains between Sierra Mágina in Jaén and the Eastern Mountains of Granada — in the world's largest olive-growing region. The family grows a single variety, Picual, on terraced groves at high altitude.
Cool mountain nights slow the ripening of the fruit, giving the oil a more intense, more stable flavour with a naturally higher antioxidant content than oil grown in the lowlands.
The oil is produced by a family of growers in Spain (Molino de Huelma S.L.). It is imported and sold in the Czech Republic by Jupiter Partners, spol. s r.o., with no further middlemen. One variety, one grove, one journey from press to customer.
The photo shows the producer's owners, the Molino de Huelma family, with their employee right in the grove — this direct relationship means we know the oil, and the people behind it, personally, not just from a label.

Picual from the grower family's own terraced groves — no blends from different sources.
From the press in Spain straight to the importer in Brno — a shorter journey, a fresher oil.
